No Returns or Refunds Policy

At Gathered Home Furnishings, all sales are final. Due to the custom, handcrafted nature of our furniture and the resources invested in creating each piece, we do not offer returns or refunds on any purchases.
Before making a purchase, we strongly encourage our customers to:
- Carefully review product descriptions, dimensions, and specifications
- Examine all available photos
- Contact us with any questions about the product before completing your purchase
- Consider ordering wood samples if you're concerned about color or finish
Damages and Issues
We take great pride in the quality of our craftsmanship and carefully inspect each item before shipment. Our licensed and insured private delivery partners handle each piece with exceptional care, which is why damage is quite rare.
In the event that your furniture arrives with a manufacturing defect or shipping damage, please follow these steps carefully at the time of delivery:
- Upon delivery, inspect your furniture thoroughly before the delivery team leaves.
- If you notice any damage, please note it specifically on the delivery paperwork (if provided) before signing.
- Document any identified damage with clear photos immediately.
- For the fastest and standard resolution (repair or replacement decided by us), allow the delivery team to immediately return the specific damaged item(s) to our workshop. This is our preferred method to ensure quality repairs.
- Contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours with photos, details, and confirmation of whether the item was returned with the delivery team.
While we don't offer returns or refunds, we are committed to addressing damage that occurs during transport when the above process is followed, typically through repair or replacement managed via our workshop.
Please understand: We cannot be responsible for damage claims made after delivery paperwork has been signed without notation of damage. Similarly, if damage is identified upon delivery but you choose to accept the item into your possession rather than allowing its immediate return with the delivery team, you are accepting the item in its current condition. While we always appreciate hearing from you, our standard resolution process relies on the item being returned immediately if damaged upon arrival. Assistance requested after knowingly accepting a damaged item will be considered solely at our discretion and convenience.
If you discover potential damage only after the delivery team has left (and the item was accepted per the above), please contact us within 48 hours. While claims made after acceptance are generally void, we will review the situation to see if any assistance is possible on an exceptional, case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
Custom Orders
For custom orders, we require final approval of designs and specifications before beginning production. Once production has begun on a custom piece, no changes, cancellations, returns, or refunds are possible under any circumstances, subject only to the provisions outlined in the "Damages and Issues" section above.
